I'll bet when Marty Walsh was elected Mayor of Boston, he never envisioned having to warn people not to jump out of their windows into the snow.

But that's exactly what happened yesterday. People in Boston are getting so stir crazy from the relentless snowstorms that jumping off one's roof or deck into a snowbank is now a thing.

In a press conference yesterday, you could hear the frustration in Walsh's voice. "It's a foolish thing to do and you could kill yourself."

The danger is that you never know what could be buried under that soft looking snow.

Walsh may have opened up another can of worms. According to the Huffington Post, several Boston residents that had never had the thought cross their minds are now considering it since he brought it up.

Personally, I don't blame the snow jumpers.  Not ready to do it myself, mind you, but if we here in CT think we're starting to get a little loopy from the never-ending cold, imagine adding another 5 feet of snow to what we have out there.
