Ladies and gentlemen it's time to take your weekend breakfasts to a whole new level. It's time to experience the PancakeBot!

One of my favorite parts of the week growing up was Saturday mornings. That's when I'd wake up to the smell of pancakes, syrup and butter wafting in the air from my bedroom. Back then, the pancakes were your average circular shape. My have times changed!

PancakeBot is a 3D printer that creates pancakes in pretty much any shape or size you like. It operates much like a regular printer on your computer only instead of printing your photo on paper, you can watch the 3D printer draw out your photo in pancake batter. Props to Miguel Valenzuela, the man behind this invention which came to the U.S. in 2012, two years after he began creating it. The latest version of PancakeBot debuted last weekend at the Bay Area Maker Faire in San Mateo, California.

I'm hoping to grab one of these soon so I can enjoy a nice big stack of pancakes in the shape of the Van Halen logo baby!!!
