Oy! Why No Jewish Deli’s In Danbury?!

Who do I gotta know to get some fresh sliced belly lox in western Connecticut?

I totally understand why I can't find a white fish chub anywhere in Danbury. It's supply and demand baby! Simple economics.

Even though there are several synagogues in the greater Danbury area, there is not one Jewish deli to be had. I could certainly schlep to Gold's Deli in Westport or the Rye Ridge Deli in Stamford to pick up a pound of chopped liver or a potato knish or perhaps plan a road trip to Rein's N.Y. Style Deli in Vernon, CT. which is my all time favorite!
