A person suffering from depression, bi-polar disorder, borderline personality disorder or schizophrenia has "a really bad day" every single day. Can you even begin to imagine how that must feel?! The stigma surrounding suicide has limited society's investment in suicide research. This is where The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention comes in, by sponsoring "Out of the Darkness Walks" all across the United States. These community walks are the AFSP's signature fundraising campaign to help raise money for research, education, and advocacy.

If you have a loved one suffering from a mental illness, you're encouraged to join the Out of the Darkness Community Walk in Brookfield scheduled for Sunday, October 19th at 10am at the Municipal Center in Brookfield.
