Operation E.L.F…Embrace Lonely Families

Now in its 12th year, Operation E.L.F was launched by the CT National Guard Foundation to support local families of soldiers who have been deployed.

Their mission is to provide for families who are struggling because their loved one will not be home for the holidays because they've been deployed overseas. This affects 1,200 families and 400 school aged children in Connecticut. Donation requests include new unwrapped toys for kids of all ages, gift cards of all kinds, cash... to put towards groceries and gas cards.(No checks please) Donated services are also welcome like snow removal, grass cutting, and fuel oil.

Please drop off your donations at Danbury Town Hall, 155 Deer Hill Ave. Danbury, CT by 6pm on December 9th. Thank you!
