C'mon, it's only October 18th! El Nino isn't supposed to hit until February or March. We're still into baseballs's American and National League championship series and my party barge isn't even out of the water yet. So what's up with a blast of snow flurries on October 18th?!

Talk to me weather geeks? Are we in for a buttload of snow this winter? According to liveweatherblogs.com, the first part of our Connecticut winter will be milder than last winter with light to moderate snow through December but, it's gonna be a different ballgame from January through March!

There's a strong possibility that a couple of Nor'easters will begin to brew in Connecticut from January 15th into February of 2016. According to Rob Guarino at liveweatherblogs.com, a massive El Nino is building, but to what degree is the big question. Guarino is predicting blizzard like conditions in late February or early March adding that, "New England weather could get wild in 2016." When my grandson, Bradley, heard the news, he recommended everyone have their moms buy them a toasty, warm "Elephant Hat."
