My vote would go to Waterbury.

But I wasn't asked. According to a poll conducted by FINDTHEHOME.COMNorth Haven is the Diner breakfast food epicenter in Connecticut. With an average of over 1 diner per 10,000 Nutmeggers. The poll also suggests you try the Athena II Diner, located on Washington Avenue in North Haven.

I believe that Western Connecticut destroys North Haven! Our area is packed with excellent restaurants and diners that serve breakfast. In my home city of Waterbury, IHOP is at the Brass Mill Mall, Jimmy's 2 on Watertown Ave, Dottie's in downtown, Top O' the Mornin' and Brass House (Formerly HoJo's) on South Main Street are all great. Middlebury has Leo's, Woodbury has Dottie's, Southbury has Leo's and Chip's. Around Danbury, The Windmill, Elmer's, and 3 Brother's all come to mind. And, last but not least, my buddy Sonny and his excellent place Sonny Side Up on Padanarum Road round out my personal faves around our world. What are some of your local favorites?
