I'm not sure what fans will do now that the fourth and final installment of the wildly popular "Hunger Games" movie is set to release, but I do know that author Suzanne Collins wrote a series of books that have taken off in an incredible way. Now that is A LOT to be thankful for. And she posted a great message of joy. Check it out.

Friday, Nov. 20 is a day of excitement and sadness rolled into one BIG movie release!

The 4th, and GASP, final installment of the insanely popular  "Hunger Games" series - "The Hunger Games, MOCKINGJAY, Part 2" releases. Here in Connecticut we can puff our chests out and feel an extra sense of pride over the fact that the brilliant mind behind these incredible books, Suzanne Collins, was born in our state and lives in the Newtown area.

Like a lot of people I often find myself, after watching a movie made from a favorite book, thinking how much I liked the book better. Not so the case with this series from Suzanne Collins.

Don't get me wrong - the books are amazing - but man did she score large on the casting of the series! I mean when you have the incredibly talented Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson at the helm of your story you're already in the plus column. I'm not even going to mention the "gorgeous" factor!

Add to that the fact that the movies were all fabulously directed and a visual treat and it's no wonder that Suzanne posted this letter of thanks on Facebook. You can read it by clicking on A MESSAGE FROM SUZANNE COLLINS.

My prediction, biggest movie opening this weekend. And still grossing huge numbers as we head into Thanksgiving week. See you at the movies!
