New York’s Governor Cuomo Aids Stranded Driver in Westchester
Thursday’s snowstorm brought out some special road side assistance for a stranded motorist on the Sprain Brook Parkway near the Hawthorne exit at about three in the afternoon.
Governor Cuomo, himself helped move a car out of a snow bank in Westchester County, according to the New York Daily News. The Governor’s Twitter followers got to see pictures of him assisting a tow truck securing a cable to the driver’s Chevy Malibu.
The Governor has experience doing this. Back in 2016, he helped a driver who was stuck in deep snow in a January 2016 storm. The driver was stuck on the Cross Island Parkway near the Throgs Neck Bridge. Turns out, the Governor was a tow truck driver way back when he was in law school.
Hey, if this whole politician thing doesn’t workout, he does have something to fall back on.
