New Interview With Jeter and A-Rod Sitting Together Gave Me Terrible Flashbacks

Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez sat down for an interview TOGETHER for a charity on CNBC and it went as expected.

Two things become painfully obvious when these two are together. First, Derek Jeter can't stand A-Rod. Second, A-Rod wants to either BE Derek Jeter or be in a committed, long term, intimate relationship with him. Plain and simple, there is no other way to put it.

I miss seeing "Jeets" on the diamond, I really do. He's my favorite Yankee of all time. I do not miss seeing video or photos of the two sharing the same space and faking a friendship. There was a time many years ago when the two were friends. They were kids and rising prospects. These two guys were buddies, then Derek Jeter grew up and A-Rod remained a 13-year-old boy mentally. The rest, as they say, is history.

Don't get me wrong, no matter how uncomfortable a meeting between the two can be to watch, I WATCH. It is must see TV. You want a ratings bonanza sitcom? Cast these two in a remake of The Odd Couple. That will get ratings like you read about.
