The owners of Litchfield County Pickers, New Milford's new consignment store, say, "Don't Dumpster it!"

You know the old saying, "One person's junk is another person's treasure?" That's exactly what Dawn and Mert Larmore are banking on as they opened up their new consignment mega-store called Litchfield County Pickers in New Milford. So what makes the Larmores consignment store different from all the others? This what Mert Larmore told the News Times about going into a house to clean it out:

We take everything out. We don't cherry pick. That's what really makes us different. A lot of people will take jewelry, high-end carpets and other valuable things. What do you do with rest?

From remote control airplanes to knickknacks, artwork to furniture and just about everything in between, Litchfield County Pickers most likely has that unique item you just gotta have. Their new location is at 493 Danbury Rd. formerly occupied by Agriventures Agway. Their original location is still opened at 7 Kent Rd.(Rt.7) in front of the Big Y.
