Need a Used Car? Try the Putnam County DA
Most car auctions are for auto dealerships only while squeezing out the public, but not this one in Putnam County.
From the Southeast-Brewster Patch comes word that the Putnam County DA has a dozen cars to sell, and one of them just might have your name on it. This is an online auction that began on Monday, and ends at 8 PM on April 4.
At car auctions, vehicles are sold as-is, and if you're the winning bidder, you'll need to get your new purchase off the premises, pronto. Up for sale is everything from a 2000 Honda Accord to a 2012 Subaru Forester 2.5 to a 1997 Lexus ES300. You can check out all the vehicles available at auctionsinternational.com.
According to the website, streetdirectory.com, there are pros and cons when it comes to buying a car at auction. PRO - Cars are cheaper. CON- Cars are cheap because they're usually confiscated or repossessed. PRO - Some cars could be in great shape and you're paying much less for that car.
