My New Favorite Road Trip Restaurant Is Red Robin

I had never been to Red Robin before this stop and I was pleasantly surprised. My wife, kids and I were on our way back from a wedding in Pennsylvania and the kids had had it about half way through. It was time to stop for a family meal. I pulled off the next exit and we ended up at Red Robin.

Our options in all fairness came down to Red Robin and this place.

NOT A FAN. I've been many times and aside from the peg board game I have nothing nice to say. I do not appreciate the gift shop trap they put you through with the kids either. But enough about the negative.

Red Robin was awesome. I had a server named Todd (lady) who was dancing, singing and bringing me wine. Not a bad deal if you ask me. The kids were preoccupied playing on a video game console they had on the table so I was able to talk to my wife for five uninterrupted minutes.

After talking about this on the Ethan and Lou show this morning a caller told me we have one right here in Danbury. I think I know where I am going this weekend. YUM!
