Mother’s Day Brunch Suggestions in Southern Fairfield County

Let's head over to the Roger Sherman Inn in New Caanan. I've worked a wedding at this gorgeous historical inn. The restaurant has been rated "Excellent" by the New York Times. How does Eggs Benedict or Creme Brulee French Toast sound? I recommend their Pumpkin "Gnudi" Ravioli with pistachio brown butter, grana pidano with amaretti crumble. Reservations at 203-966-4541.

Over the last 19 years, the Red Barn Restaurant in Westport has been honored for its exquisite American/Continental cuisine and the beautiful displays of seasonal flowers. The the Red Barn is rolling out a special Mother's Day menu featuring Australian Sea Bass, Rack of Lamb, and their Seafood Medley. Reservations at 203-222-9549.  Over to Stamford to the Kona Grill. With 30 locations around the USA, the Kona is famous for its award winning sushi and amazingly fresh ingredients. Their menu is a bit more mainstream than the other three restaurant selections.  For starters I recommend their Beef Bulgoggi Tacos with marinated beef inside a thick flaky shell with asian slaw and sweet hoisin sauce.
