For the second year in a row, the Ives Concert park will rock with the sounds of some of the country's best tribute bands as the Mock Stock Tribute Band fest is returning July 20 and 21.

This year's festival will be spread over two nights, with a different theme each night.

Friday night's theme is "Purple" with bands dedicated to the music of Jimi Hendrix, Sly and the Family Stone and Prince. First up is Kiss the Sky, recreating the music and look of the Jimi Hendrix Experience.

Sly and the Family Stone are represented by Everyday People:

Capping off Friday night will be Dean Ford and the Beautiful People, who look like their Prince tribute will be unbelievable.

On Saturday the focus turns to "Mock Stock Metal" with tributes to Guns 'N Roses, Metallica and AC/DC.

AC/DC fans will get treated to the sounds of Halfway to Hell.

Metallica their their due from the Four Horsemen:

And Get Your Guns will bring the sights and sounds of Guns 'N Roses to the Ives stage.

Tickets are $20 per night in advance. They'll be $30 per night at the door. Get 'em here.
