Metallica’s James Hetfield Leaving the Band?

If this is true there is nothing left to believe in.

Before you panic. It's not true. It's a goof article from some website called heaviermetal.net

Here's some of the many tip-off's that it's a fake story:

• They say he is leaving the band to start a solo country career.
• They say you get a free pack of cigarettes and a bottle of whiskey with the new record "Hetfield Road."
• They have a so called quote from James saying he just wants to get back to his country roots.
• They say that by purchasing the VIP edition of the record you will receive actual tears cried by James Hetfield himself.
• They say one of the tracks is called: "My wife left me and my dog died."
• They speculate as to whether Slipknot's Corey Taylor will replace James in Metallica.
• They say he will make his first appearance at the Grand Ole' Opry in July.

Is that enough? Are you convinced that the story is a fake? I had one of the Ethan and Lou listeners send me the link to this article asking me what I thought of it and I said not much it's fake. So none of us have to worry. It did make me think though.

After spending some time thinking about what the world would be like without James in Metallica I must say it would be devastating. There are some things in this world that are right, just and true. Things that were meant to be one way and one way only. The only way Metallica works is with James Hetfield. That is how it's always been and needs to stay that way forever.  WE GOT ANY WOLVES OUT THERE!!!!!???????
