Massage Parlor Investigation Leads to Prostitution Arrest in Monroe, CT

Monroe Healthy Massage at 838 Main Street on Rt. 25 in Monroe was something a little more than healthy, according to police reports.

According to Patch.com, a number of postings on the internet described illegal sexual activity going on inside Monroe Healthy Massage and two New York women were arrested after a year long investigation found there allegedly was some serious hanky panky happening on their massage tables.

Members of the Monroe Police Department Detective Squad, Statewide Organized Crime Investigative Task Force, and an Immigration and Custom Enforcement Officer executed the search warrant.

Police took all recorded videos, business records, equipment used in connection of prostitution and $1,100 in cash.

Both women were arrested for practicing massage therapy without a license, while one of them women was also charged with prostitution. They will be arraigned on July 23.

Police will view all massage parlor videos to identify patrons and prostitutes.
