Counterfeit $100 bills were passed at stores in Danbury Fair.

According to a story posted on NEWSTIMES.COMa 26-year-old New York man named Javed Ahmed Salam was arrested this past Wednesday after allegedly passing counterfeit $100 bills at several Danbury Fair merchants.

Salam reportedly passed the notes after buying several small items at Dick's, Hollister, Abercrombie, and the Children's Place, among others. He was arrested, charged with sixth degree larceny and forgery, and has an October 29th court appearance in Danbury.
