It's beginning to look a lot like -- well at the very least, Thanksgiving!

To me, nothing says the start of the Holiday season like the iconic Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Even though tons of stores have been doing the overkill Christmas thing of decorations and more since before Halloween, when Macy's really starts gearing up for the parade, I get giddy.

2016 marks the 90th anniversary of the parade, and Macy's is unveiling its new fleet of floats and balloons for this year's event.

According to macysthanksgiving.wiki.com, there are new character balloons, new novelty balloons and four new floats debuting at this year's 90th parade. For a peek at the balloons, floats, performers, where to watch, and much more go to social.macys.com

Now that we're all psyched up for the big Thanksgiving Day Parade, it's time to think about Christmas and Santa coming to town.

If you want to create a really giddy and special moment for the kids this holiday season, check out this one-of-a-kind celebration going on right here in Danbury:
