I heard that Lauren DiBiase passed on Monday, and I am so incredibly sorry. I did not know her, but many people that I do know were friends of Lauren's, and they're devastated by her loss. Lauren's friend, Ed Pagan, reached out to me to see if we could pass along the message that they wanted to do something for others in her name.

Because Lauren was so passionate about making a difference, her generous friends and family have decided to organize a toy drive in her honor. They ask that as you come to pay your respects at either her visitation or funeral, to bring an unwrapped toy or stuffed animal that will be donated to a child who would otherwise go without.

Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 8 PM on Friday, December 16 at Green Funeral Home located at 57 Main Street in Danbury. The funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 17, at St. Edward the Confessor Church located at 21 Brush Hill Road in New Fairfield. Please bring your toy donation with you in memory of Lauren's generosity.

Thank you to Lauren's brother, Michael, and her friend, Ed, for communicating these details with me in the DiBiase family's time of grief. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
