People who listen to the Ethan and Lou show know that I am a jerk. That's putting it lightly. My family, friends, co-workers, and again, the listeners know this.

A few times throughout each year, we get a person who is new to the show, and hears something I say, and loses their mind. This morning, that very thing happened.

Back story - We were talking about whether or not people are for or against a possible noise ordinance on Candlewood Lake. That, by the way, is NOT a thing right now. It's been brought up as a topic on the show, and that's all. Anyway, we contacted this one guy, Mike, who happens to own a double-decker boat that has been identified as one of the main noise offenders. He and I brokered an agreement.

I said that I would champion their cause as a public representative and in return, I told him to let me take some of the pretty young ladies off of his boat, and put them on the I-95 Party Barge with us. He agreed. Win/win. The only problem with that is that I did not call them pretty young ladies. I used a degrading comment to refer to the ladies instead of calling them ladies. We are all just trying to have fun here. No one respects women like this guy right here. Without my wife, mother, and three sisters, I'd be face down in a gutter, no question. But this lady heard the comment, and reached out to the show. This is how that went:

Let's all calm down, lighten up, and have some fun. People are people. We are, equal but let's call each other names here and there. Life is short. Take it too seriously, and it's just depressing.
