After Omelette left in '05, I was on the the hunt AGAIN for my next morning show partner. At this point I was beginning to get a complex that maybe I had a deodorant issue.

Management and I immediately began the exhaustive search for a new co-host as the resume's and audition tapes rolled in. Just as we thought our heads were about to explode after listening to a boatload of air checks from potential candidates, a guy named Neil Hedley called the station and asked if he could drive in for an interview. Originally from Canada, Neil had steered WWYZ...Country 92.5's morning show to #1 in the Hartford, CT market from '98-2002. Neil drove down from West Hartford and the two of us we went out for some penne ala vodka and within an hour I knew I'd found my new morning show partner.

Neil's claim to fame during his tenure as my morning show co-host were his marathon sleepovers in a cramped tent up on a highway billboard, which is why we called him I-95's "Guy In The Sky." These 10 day sleepovers turned into one of the United Way's major fundraisers to the tune of  over $100,000. Neil has since moved back to the great white north. Check him out at www.neilhedley.com
