According to Fox Sports, Lenny "Nails" Dykstra opened up to Colin Cowherd on the nationally syndicated radio show, The Herd about HGH use. He said, "I put that on my cereal man."

Lenny is out pimping his new tell all book, and is not shy about his drug use.

I mean, this is wild stuff. This guy has done it all, and is alleged to have done a ton more. I mean, here is a guy who had an illustrious Major League Baseball career, made a fortune in real estate, lost a fortune in real estate, went to prison, has been accused of fraudulent business practices, accused of sexual harassment by former employees, seems to have an affinity for cocaine, HGH and Twizzlers.

I am always fascinated by guys like this who just say whatever is IN their head. He is either a secret genius who knows how to grab headlines, or just a buffoon. Either way, when "Nails" talks, you need to get your popcorn and take a seat, because he is about to put on a show.

As for the performance enhancing drugs, good for him. Good for him for admitting it, and really just diminishing it as no big deal. The fact is, when Lenny played, it was no big deal and everyone was doing it. That is how we need to view that era in baseball. We need to look at it as guilty until proven innocent.
