I liked Ethan and Lou's idea of naming your five favorite Summer songs, here's mine!

1. Summer - War

Just the ultimate descriptive chill-out song. Great percussion, languid lyrics. Perfect

2. Chicago - Saturday In The Park

The best place to listen to this song in my opinion is at Yankee Stadium during a game. You can see the smiles spread across the crowd as the piano and bass kick in. Just a great feel-good piece of Summer music

3. The Summer Wind - The Chairman of the Board

Sinatra - singing about a Summer breeze. Nothing better

4. Bob Marley - Three Little Birds

Poetry with steel drums and soul. Amazing

5. Calilfornia Sun - The Rivieras

I remember hearing this song in the early 70's, when the Beatles and Elton John dominated the radio, and this song struck me like a brick. Instantly transports you to the beach.

Looking back on my list, I went old-school, the timeless classics. I also considered "Jane Says" from Jane's Addiction, but these are my top 5 favorite Summer classics, enjoy!
