Today, I received a surprise package from one of my favorite destinations in the world, Mohegan Sun. Christmas in September! I opened the box with great anticipation, and inside was a sweet USB thumb drive keychain.

And -- unbelievably -- a virtual reality headset!

Plus instructions on how to use it, and a website to check out in order to take a virtual tour of the casino, grounds, and all of the other attractions! So, I did. Click and watch the video below.

I've only experienced old school virtual reality. I owned one of those Nintendo Virtual Boys back in the raging 90s. It sucked compared to this. You can seriously look all around you, unencumbered by any spatial limitations -- up and down, sideways, etc.

Mohegan Sun is an incredibly beautiful place. They have some of the most interesting architecture anywhere in the world. This was a brilliant piece of marketing that their team thought up. We really appreciate the awesome gifts here at the radio station, and we will continue to let our audience know about your world-class entertainment and facilities.
