According to ESPN.com Kevin Durant will meet with the Thunder, Celtics, Warriors, Spurs, Heat and Clippers. He may even meet with the Knicks.

This is interesting, because if he chooses any of the teams on this list other than his current team, it can really shift the balance of power in the NBA. All of these teams have at least one elite NBA player. Some of them have two or three. Imagine Durant paired with Steph Curry.

This is going to make me sound like an old man crying, but I don't care. I miss the old days where guys stayed in one city for their whole career. They didn't run to play with as many stars as they could. The top dogs battled it out for their city, they didn't run where the winning was. You had Michael in Chicago, Bird in Boston, Magic in L.A. and Isiah in Detroit. Off the court, they were friendly, but on the court, they were mortal enemies. They hated each other.

Whatever Kevin Durant decides, I just hope he does not make it a spectacle. You don't need to do a tour of each city followed by a TV special, where you announce where you will take your talents. Just pick a team, and let's get on with it.
