Footage from the J. Geils Band's 1979 appearance on Germany's long-running Rockpalast series is finally scheduled to reach American shores on Feb. 24.

Titled House Party Live in Germany, the 14-track set will be released on DVD and CD as well as digital audio, and offers a cross section of hits and fan favorites from the pre-'80s era of the band's classic catalog, including "One Last Kiss" and "Whammer Jammer" -- and "Teresa," which we're premiering.

"Teresa" -- which you can watch above -- was originally recorded for 1978's Sanctuary LP, and highlights the more sensitive side of a band mostly known for its way with up-tempo ravers — not to mention showcasing the range and soulful delivery of frontman Peter Wolf.

House Party Live in Germany's release comes during a time of heightened catalog activity for the J. Geils Band, arriving just a couple of weeks before the group's 1973 album Bloodshot is scheduled to receive the reissue treatment. As previously reported, this edition — which comes courtesy of Real Gone Music — reproduces the first pressings of the record, complete with red vinyl and a ‘50s-style Atlantic Records label.

The group, which has been touring lately without its namesake guitarist, recently completed a run of shows with Bob Seger. Check out the complete track listing for House Party Live in Germany below.
