It’s National Hamburger Month Here’s My Favorite Burger Recipe
Let's eat, Let's grill, Let's Celebrate.
Did you know it's "National Hamburger Month" and today is actually "National Hamburger Day" here in the states. Sounds like a great enough reason to me to celebrate all things between the bun, or the lettuce, or even bun-less! I like mine sans bun so I don't feel as guilty eating the French-fries - but THAT'S another story!
I will tell you that I love my burger medium rare in a bunch of different ways with a bunch of different toppings.
- Blue Cheese
- Pepper Jack Cheese
- Jalapenos
- Thin Crispy Onion Straws
- Sautéed Mushrooms
- Chipotle Mayo
- Guacamole
- Bacon
Any of the above makes my mouth water! I want my lettuce, pickles and tomato on the side not on the burger, and I'm not a fan of barbecue sauce on it either. With all of that said, my recipe for the BEST BURGER is pretty plain and simple.
1 pound of Ground Sirloin
1/4 pound of Ground Chuck
1/4 cup of Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 teaspoon of coarse salt and 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper.
Mix it all together and fire up the grill. I'll be over at 6p and I'll bring the wine.
