Can it be a happy Monday when it's written in snow? Gives me the blues! Turns out I'm NOT alone. Here's what researchers have to say about Jan. 18.

According to researchers, the 3rd Monday of every January is Blue Monday. They say it's the most depressing day of the year. The combo of post-Christmas finances, lousy winter weather, and the knowledge that summer is more than five months away, researchers say, makes Jan. 18 a real downer for a bunch of people. They go on to say today's the day when people feel the loneliest, debt levels are their highest, and the weather is the worst.

Around this part of the country Winter weather has been pretty reasonable. But we did get snow this morning, so one can assume that played right into the Blue Monday theory. Of course there are non-believers. CBCnews says it's all a "gimmick" and that "real" science shows it doesn't exist. You can read all about it at CBCnews.com

I say, if you feel it, then it's real. I'll do my best today and every day to ROCK you out of it!
