What is "Slide the City" you ask? "Slide the City" is a 1,000 feet long slip-n-slide water party event for family and friends. That's right,1,000 feet, or the size of three football fields that's set up on a chosen street in different cities all over the U.S. and Mayor Mark Boughton is working hard to get "STC" for a date in August!

When you register to ride the Slide, you'll receive a wristband that will let you climb on three times anytime during the day. You must also sign a waiver and bring your own tube.

Children must be at least 46 inches tall or 5 years old to slide. The slide was made in the good ole U.S.A and is made of cushiony plastic so you don't get any bumps or bruises.

Go to this website for all the info about the slide's arrival in Danbury. Get ready, let's do it!
