Mild winters in New England makes many of us very happy. There are consequences though for sure.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on not getting sick. I suffered through a winter cold back in early February, when it really was "cold season." Here we are in mid March and I'm surrounded by quite a few people at work that are down for the count with sniffles and more. So do they have a cold, or what?

Due to the unusually mild winter, where we actually broke a record of 80 degrees at Bradley airport last week, allergy sufferers may get smacked with seasonal sniffles and sneezes sooner than normal.

Spring doesn't officially arrive until Saturday March 19th but the earth itself has decided differently for a good part of the country. According to the Weather Channel mild Winter weather can really take it's toll. Also if you are a spring allergy sufferer the thing that usually causes the most issues is usually pollen. Connecticut pretty much has fairly high pollen counts making our state a hot spot for seasonal allergies.

So grab your tissues, neti pot, nasal spray, or whatever works for you, and stay the hell away from me! Just in case it is something more than allergies, I want to be covered.
