The Golden State Warriors are set to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers starting this Thursday, at the Oracle Arena, in a rematch of last year's NBA title.

It was a foregone conclusion that they would lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and forever be known as the team with the best single-season record that just could not get it done. They, instead, crawled their way back into the Western Conference Series, ultimately winning it.

Now that they have found their way into the NBA Finals, they have a chance to be the team that has the single season wins record, came back from sure elimination in the Western Conference Finals and won the NBA Finals.

If they do beat the Cavs, are they the best team in NBA history? It's all that NBA fans can talk about, and is a valid question. Technically, on paper, I would have to say yes. Basketball, however, is not played on paper. It's played on the basketball court. There is not one shred of me that believes this Warrior team, in its prime, could take the court against Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Denis Rodman in their prime, and win. I just don't see it.

This argument, however, probably won't be talking place after next week. I do believe that Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will win this series in seven games. It's unfortunate, because I cannot stand Lebron, but that is what's going to happen.
