The final score was 110-77. It was never close, and Lebron James did not look like the "King" at all.

Someone told me yesterday that Cleveland as a sports town has not won a professional sports title since 1964. I looked it up, and that is true. The last title in Cleveland was the Browns, who won the 1964 NFL Championship. That is quite a drought. It did not have to go this long, in my opinion. Lebron James wasted some of his prime years taking his talents to South Beach.

Sure, he won there, but he likely would have won in Cleveland, had he not left. This was pre-Steph Curry, and he was at the top of his game. He did not need Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade.

I remember the days leading up to "the decision" and the hype around it. I have never, in all my years of following sports, seen anything like it. He made himself a human three-ring circus. Rumors had him going to the Knicks, Bulls, Heat, and even going back to Cleveland. He held the press conference in New York, and announced he would go to Miami. It was confusing and, quite frankly, annoying.

Now, Lebron James finds himself just four wins away from being the man to rescue Cleveland from its title drought, and it does not look good. The Golden State Warriors are scoring at will, launching threes from 40 feet out, and draining them.

I do think Lebron will put on an epic performance in the next two games and make this interesting. In the end, it won't be enough. He will then be another full year away from having to claw them back to the NBA Finals again, which is no guarantee. Good luck, King James.
