Some of you may have heard me tell my stories of my days as a Caddie at a private course in Westchester, NY. Those experiences shaped my feelings on golf and they were not positive ones. The people I caddied for were some of the biggest A-holes I have ever met in my life. They made me hate the game.

It is just that too, it's a game of skill, not a sport. Anything you can play professionally in your eighties is not a sport. That being said I will be hitting the links hard this summer which has the people who know me best asking, why?

The answer is simple. The people I am going with I enjoy hanging out with. My first scheduled tee time is with one of my guys here at the radio station, Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton and Scott the owner of Down the Hatch.

Scott and I have always had fun hanging out. We share a lot of the same interests which include but are not limited to swearing and yelling. My guy at the station is a cool guy I've known for years and it's no longer a secret Mark Boughton and I have a bromance that is real strong.

I guess if I had to sum it up, it's not what you are doing but who you are doing it with.
