The Velcrows at MTK Tavern in Mount Kisco

• When: Friday, Jan. 23 at 9 p.m.
• Event info: The Velcrows will rock MTK Tavern tonight!

Winter Constellations at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center

• When: Friday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m
• Event info: Explore the winter sky, without freezing! The Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s observatory will offer a presentation on winter constellations and more. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children who are non-members. Members get in for free!

Dan Kean & Friends, Klyde Jones and Dan Lavoie at Daryl’s House

• When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 23, 24 and 25; various show times
• Event info: Dean Kean & Friends play Friday at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door; Klyde Jones plays at 9 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are the same price. Dan Lavoie will go on at 8 p.m. on Sunday. Those tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

“Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” at Palace Theatre in Waterbury

• When: Friday and Saturday, Jan. 23 and 24
• Event info: This show has been deemed the “Worlds’ Most Successful Rock n’ Roll Musical” and will be performed on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $45 to $75.

The Connecticut Wing Fest at the Matrix Center in Danbury

• When: Saturday, Jan. 24 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Event info: Connecticut wing masters will face-off for the title of “Connecticut’s Best Wings” on Saturday. You’ll get to sample wings and vote for your favorite, enjoy great local beers and live music. Come hang out with your favorite i95 Rock and KICKS 105.5 DJs and get the chance to win great prizes.

Them Bones at Molly Darcy’s in Danury

• When: Saturday, Jan. 24 at 10 p.m.
• Event Info: This modern rock band from Mahopac will rock the pub starting at 10 p.m.

Mid Atlantic Tittle and Jazz Train in Widow Brown’s in Danbury

• When: Saturday, Jan. 24 at 10 p.m.
• Event info: These bands will both play on Saturday night starting at 10 p.m. Mid Atlantic Tittle plays funk jazz, while Jazz Train plays pop.

Chocolate Expo at The Martime Aquarium at Norwalk

• When: Sunday, Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Event info: Chocolate and lots of it! Find chocolate in every way, shape or form at this event. They’ll also be a celebrity chef appearance and cooking demo. Click on the link above for ticket price info and details.

Chili Cookoff at Harley Davidson of Danbury

• When: Sunday, Jan. 25 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
