Over the years here at the radio station, you have heard me speak about and write about my co-workers. Fact is, I get along with all of them, but once or twice a year, a random crime is committed in the building with no one taking credit. Crimes, yes I said crimes. They are unspoken rules that get broken when no one is looking, and they leave you scratching your head with no one to blame. The worst part is that many times -- because of my reputation -- I am the prime suspect.

Past incidents include:

  • Broken coffee pots from leaving the burner on.
  • Fires in the cigarette disposal stick -- to be fair, this is usually me, but not always.
  • Mystery stains all over the building.
  • Missing or stolen items.
  • Passive aggressive notes posted on the fridge and in the bathrooms

Now, this. Ethan and I came into the building yesterday morning to see that the lock box for the thermostat had been smashed and left on the floor, right by the scene of the crime. Whenever I see something like this, I leave it right where it is. I do not want to disturb the crime scene so that a proper investigation can be launched, and I can be ruled out.

Just a savage move. It's like we work with farm animals. How hot or cold do you have to be to roundhouse kick the lock box off the thermostat and leave it smashed for all to see? I vow to get to the bottom of this one and clear my name.
