I HATE CAR MAINTENANCE AND CAR TROUBLE

For the record I love my car and it's super reliable.  But I just got done paying for brakes and now....

the snow is bout to fly so next is tires.  I hate buying tires, I know I need to so my family is safe but the money I'm going to spend on that is money I was going to save that I just got!  AWESOME.  Having a car is like being in a one-sided relationship with a woman.  You take great care of it and dump money into it and you still don't know if it's gonna work out.  AND SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT CALIPERS ARE?!  I'm pretty sure that is a thing that mechanics made up just to take more money from you.  Oh and there is apparently an air filter in my glove compartment that costs 40 bucks to replace!  Yeah I'll pass, my car can go on smelling like cigarettes and failure I need tires and brakes first bro.  Now I know for sure that I'm going to get angry mail from mechanics about what a horrible car owner I am.  Mechanics have the worst bed side manner.  When My brakes were shot, I knew they were and took it to my mechanic and told him I needed brakes.  He said:  "Man you really messed those brakes up so bad."  I didn't do anything!  They are all like the mechanic from Seinfeld.
