And I don't mean the Carole King song!Wow ... it happened AGAIN in less than a week in Connecticut. Another earthquake ... WHAT THE HELL!

The United States Geological Survey has confirmed that a mild earthquake shook Plainfield early this morning. The event, which measured 3.3 in magnitude, struck at 6:36 a.m.

There were no injuries or damage, and tremors of this magnitude are not uncommon.

The USGS rates a 3.3 magnitude quake as between Level II and III in intensity. The intensity is a measurement of how the event feels to people at the site, and its effects on structures.

At this level, the USGS says, the quake would feel similar and last as long as the vibration from a large passing truck. It would be felt most by people in upper stories of tall buildings, the federal agency says.

In other words, it was nothing to get shook up about.

But Connecticut does occasionally get significant earthquakes and one, in 1791, would likely be devastating if it occurred today.

Whew, we dodged another one! Now feel free to karaoke along to Carole King.
