Friends on the pontoon, scallops, a boat ride with Mindy, Matt, and Bradley, and a cocktail/dinner cruise with my awesome wife! There's not one thing I would change about this past weekend. It wasn't just 'Father's Day,' we jammed an entire 'Father's Day' weekend celebration. We actually got the weekend underway on Thursday evening with a trip across the lake to one of our best friend's lake house for dinner and drinks. Here's a photo from his dock.

Friday night we packed it all back up and sailed over to 'Down the Hatch' with our friends Betty Anne and Aaron for an evening of dinner and drinks on the deck. One of my favorite times to be out on the boat is when it's almost dark. The lake is as smooth as glass and you feel like you've got the whole lake all to yourself.

Saturday evening was what 'Father's Day' is all about when my oldest son, Matt and his son, and our grandson, Bradley hopped aboard the pontoon. It was also the boat ride that Bradley found out if he dropped something in the water, his dad would fish it out for him.

Sunday morning, Mindy gave me my "PAPA" t-shirt which I wore proudly all day long and then hit the lake for breakfast featuring lox and bagels and the New York Times.

Needless to say, we were back out pontooning on Sunday evening to catch the sunset and the first night of the 'Solstice Moon.' It was the best 'Father's Day' ever, and yes, I got my scallop dinner! The entire weekend was an exercise in, "Counting Your Blessings."
