Hurry up Southbury, Build The Riverview Cinemas!

Last I heard, Christmas 2015 was the planned opening date

I drove by this morning, and from the looks of things, Christmas 2016 is more likely. There was a flurry of activity with the groundbreaking back in May of this year, but since then, the dirt has just sat, as well as the big equipment parked on the lot.

The Facebook page associated with the project has not been updated since the end of September. I have read that the zoning process and approvals have all been taken care of. Can anyone fill us in on why this project has been dormant since May?
