This is interesting, and we are going to talk about this tomorrow.

What dollar amount would you wager for true happiness?

I mean I think you have to think in terms of your overall wealth. So, if you are a billionaire would you reduce yourself to being a millionaire for happiness?

If you're a millionaire would you reduce yourself to a comfortable living for happiness? If you are like me, would you reduce yourself to being poor for happiness?

I think I would give all my money away for it.  I think when you boil it down people chase money because they think it will make them happy but does it?

If you could have a smile on your face, have a good relationship and make your family happy would you give it all up?

I guess the sad thing is that people in my position could not fulfill the last one if you gave it all away. To make your family happy you have to make them comfortable and to do that you have to have some money. It's sad but true.

That is why we all chase the dream of millions, or dare I say billions, and it's why we play lotto because most of us if we hit could be happy if we knew our kids and grandchildren were taken care of.

It's a lot to think about. But truth be told ... with all of my problems, and some are whoppers, I am happy because I have a great relationship, healthy/happy children, a great family and the best job in the world.

I should do a better job of trying to remind myself of that daily.
