How Does Your Favorite Halloween Candy Measure Up?

Everyone knows that candy is bad for you, but come Halloween, I revert to the days when I would steal candy from my kid's Halloween goodie bag.

Yeah, it's bad, but it tastes so GOOD! I decided to consult three websites to find out how my favorite Halloween candy measured up to their own top ten. I checked popsugar.com., ranker.com., and eatthis.com. As it turns out, eatthis.com turned out to be the hoighty-toighty of 'Best Halloween Candy' websites. Their Top Ten included Werthers Original and York Peppermint Pattie.(Snack Size) C'mon, really?! Maybe in the big buck neighborhoods of Greenwich, but not in my neighborhood dammit!

After a comprehensive review of the other two websites, I found out that  popsugar.com and ranker.com both had the following five candies in each of their Top Ten which were - Twix, Starburst, Skittles, Snickers, and Kit Kats. Personally my five favorite Halloween treats are:

1. Reeces Peanut Butter Cups
2. Butterfingers
3. Tootsie Rolls
4. Starburst
5. Peanut M&M's

I went old-school there by choosing Tootsie Rolls because I love to chew my candy for 30 minutes, and there's nothing like a Butterfingers, which are freshly roasted chopped peanuts made into a creamy peanut butter that's blended with sugar candy, which is why you end up using a long thin screwdriver to dig the candy out of your back teeth. I've lost a couple of fillings that way. No worries!
