Do you feel that everyone within a 300-yard radius of your boat needs to hear "I Took A Pill in Ibiza" at full volume?

I totally understand that those five 26-year-old guys without shirts on the Four Winns power boat 100 yards from our pontoon see me as just another old guy. I get that, and I'm OK with it. They're probably thinking, "If it's too loud, you're too old, pops!" And I'm saying, "If you're crankin' your jam where other boaters can have their own dance party to YOUR music two to three football fields away, courtesy and common sense should tell you that you're bothering other boaters by pumping out 'Pass Dat' by Jeremih at max volume."

Look, I don't want to be that guy who gets up from his table at a fancy-ass wedding reception to tell the DJ to turn down that hippity-hop music during dinner. I'm happy as crap that you're enjoying your favorite jams out on the lake, but nobody else on Candlewood Lake is enjoying, "Don't Let Me Down" by The Chainsmokers.

Let me ask you a question. How would you like it if I cranked up some "Sweet Baby James" through my 4 sub-woofers on my antique pontoon boat? You'd most likely flip me the bird, right? So, please, all I'm asking for is some common courtesy when you're out with your friends on your mom and dad's boat.

By all means, play your music, whether it's Biggie Smalls or "B.B. King, but on behalf of all the other boaters enjoying Candlewood Lake,  I'm just asking you to keep the volume to a respectable level. Thank you.
