From a story out of The Day in New London, Stonington High School has layed down the law by not allowing anymore "grinding and other forms of inappropriate dancing or touching!" at all high school dances. No more "Dirty Dancing" New London! What year is it? 1987?! The first violation is a warning and the second violation is ejection from the dance. Students are also required to dress "tastefully" for all dances. Again I ask you, what year is it?! 1951?!

All students and parents must sign the new policy agreement before dance tickets can be purchased. Stonington High Principal, Mark Friese told The Day that inappropriate touching and clothing discourages some students from attending school dances, or leads to parents not allowing their teen to participate. This means no more "copping a feel" until after the dance and you're out in the car. Do teenagers even go parking to "make-out" anymore? I remember my high school girlfriend, Sharon and I used to go up to this new housing development, Ahhhh.....never mind.
