Seems there's a new trend in gift giving! "Boomerang Gifts" Just what the heck is that?

First I have to tell you I LOVE GIFT GIVING! Sure I'm a "shopaholic" so Christmas is a total rush for me. My shopping theory for the holiday has always been: 1 for you - 2 for me! So it appears I am a "boomerang" gift giver of sorts.

What exactly is a "boomerang gift"? 

First of all IT IS NOT THIS...

BUT the idea is similar to the "concept" of the real Boomerang. You throw it out there and it COMES BACK TO YOU!

 A boomerang gift is when you give a present to someone that ALSO benefits YOU! 

Give your sweetie a "couples" massage. How about that huge new TV for the family room. Trip for everyone to Aruba. Catered dinner at home. A years worth of movie tickets..well YOU get the idea.

I guess my 1 for you 2 for me theory isn't exactly "boomerang" but I do have the "benefiting" ME thing down pat! And btw..I am willing to receive!
