Heavenly Ice Cream in Oxford

I am ashamed of myself. I've been missing out on the richest, most delicious ice cream! I've heard about Rich Farm, and their incredible ice cream for quite a few years, but I've never been. My allegiance to Carvel on Watertown Ave runs deep. This past Friday night, however, Mrs. Large and I stopped into this beautiful farm to get it on, ice cream style.

There was a brief shower on Friday night, and we figured it would be a good time to go. We pulled up the driveway, and saw the expanse of the farm itself. It is immaculate, and the bugs aren't out yet, perfect. The ice cream that Rich Farm serves is the creamiest, most decadent ice cream that I've had in years. Being as fresh as the ice cream is, the taste is outstanding. I ordered a Black Cherry Vanilla, and she got Toasted Almond with hot fudge and nuts. My wife is a seasoned veteran in ice cream, it was almost too much for her! We drove around Middlebury as she was soldiering though the massive dairy storm.

Rich Farm is located on Rt. 67 at 691 Oxford Road. They are seasonal, and this is the season to try out their delicious concoctions.
