Heads Up … Road Construction Begins

Anybody out there who's needed front end work on their car due to the award winning pot holes in our Danbury area roads? I'm not trashing any of the highway departments because I realize they're working on the problem.

Stay far away from Milltown Road, especially the New Fairfield section, and Pembroke Road in Danbury.

More fun is coming our way! Beginning tomorrow, April 6th, reconstruction will start up on interchanges 5 and 6 of I-84 in Danbury. The project includes the widening of the Exit 5 off-ramps on both the eastbound and westbound sides along with the Exit 6 on and off ramp.

It goes without saying......expect delays or look for an alternative way to get to work, like maybe a lawn tractor.
