According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Han Solo Star Wars spin off movie currently in production is not without its issues.

The film, set to hit theaters in May of next year, just lost both of its Directors. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, according to the report, say they are leaving the project due to creative differences with the studio. They say they are leaving, I am willing to bet they were let go.

Although most of their vision is already in the can, Kathleen Kennedy of Lucasfilm says they will announce a new director soon. They will also reportedly be doing extensive re-shoots. That does not sound great.

It could be a bad thing, for sure, that you have to redo a whole movie set to be released in under a year, but it might not be. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story had similar problems. Directors were swapped out and whole chunks of the movie were re-shot and that came out amazing in my opinion.

We are talking about Disney here, and they, for all their glaring issues, know how to crank out some real high quality s--t. All I care about is how prominent a role Boba Fett will play in the film. It better be a big one.
