To Catch a Predator is one of my favorite television shows of all time. It was appointment viewing for me. Now, Chris Hansen is back. Sort of.

According to Mediaite.com, Chris Hansen, using a Kickstarter campaign, funded his own sizzle reel to sell to networks called Hansen vs. Predator.

A sizzle reel is like a much shorter version of a pilot episode. According to the report, it was even filmed right here in Fairfield County, CT which is both interesting and terrifying. In the Fall of 2015, the Fairfield Citizen reported that 10 men were charged, as a result of the sting operation.

Years ago Ethan and I had the opportunity to interview Chris. At the time, he was promoting a book or something. I continually pressed him on whether he would ever bring the show back. He basically said that he had been there and done that.

He went on to say that at the time, it would be hard to do because the predators themselves were onto him. He said the show would almost have to be shelved for an extended time period for it to work correctly. Well, that time has passed, and he is back.

I can not see how a network would not pick this show up. It's box office boffo, a ratings bonanza. I look forward to watching this TV show on whatever network they put it on. I have my sweatpants picked out for the debut episode, so I can really relax and get some solid TV time in. Let me quote Chris by saying, "Have a seat".

P.S.- I looked in the Ethan and Lou archives to see if we still had the old Chris Hansen interview. Unfortunately, I do not. Someone - who shall remain nameless - deleted it by accident. Hopefully, if Chris' show gets picked up we will have him on again.
