Ground Broken at the New Movie Theater in Southbury

As a follow up to my earlier post ... the movie theater in Southbury is closer to being real!

I was driving through Southbury today, and saw a gathering of dignitaries on Main Street South next to the post office. They were officially breaking ground on the new movie theater!

The Southbury Riverview Cinema and Playhouse is located at 690 Main St. South and will have eight screen within a 42,500 sq. ft. building, according to the Waterbury RepublicanAmerican.

I wrote about this back in December. I can't wait for this place to open! I'm sure it is still months away from completion, but it's exciting to see the ground being moved!
